The National Youth Wing of the All Progressives Congress has introduced a new internship programme targeted at young Nigerians interested in politics, governance, and leadership.
In an announcement posted on X, APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Isreal, explained that the initiative will provide participants with practical exposure to youth-focused projects while also helping them build essential professional and leadership skills.
According to Isreal, the application process opened on Friday, September 12, and will run until Friday, September 19, 2025. The programme is scheduled to be held in Abuja.
“For individuals with a passion for politics, governance, and youth empowerment,” the statement noted.
The Youth Wing emphasized that the internship will serve as more than just training, offering opportunities to connect with decision-makers and fellow youth leaders. “Gain hands-on experience, build leadership and professional skills, and also network with policymakers and youth leaders,” it stated.
Organizers also confirmed that dedicated interns will be acknowledged at the end of the programme. “Certificate and recommendation (for interns who show commitment) on completion,” the announcement added.
The initiative is open to motivated young Nigerians who are eager to play active roles in youth empowerment and national progress. Applications are to be submitted through the official link – https://bit.ly/apcyouthintern.
