Brain Builders Call for Budget Literacy Workshop (Kwara)

Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative has opened applications for its upcoming Capacity Building Workshop focused on improving budget literacy among citizens in Kwara State.

The training, backed by the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre and Christian Aid in Nigeria, will equip participants with practical knowledge on the budget process, tax obligations, and how these impact public services. A spokesperson explained, “This workshop will give residents the tools to understand government spending, know their rights as taxpayers, and take action when necessary through the Grievance Redress Mechanism.”

Set for Thursday, 28th August 2025, in Ilorin, Kwara State, the programme will start at 9:00AM. The event will be held in person and has a limited number of available slots.
