EyeCity Africa has opened applications for its Research Internship, offering young graduates and early career professionals an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research and development across the continent.
The organisation explained that the role is entry-level and is designed for individuals with under three years of work experience. Eligible applicants must be from Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, or Francophone African countries.
Speaking on the initiative, EyeCity Africa noted, “We are committed to creating opportunities for Africans who want to make meaningful contributions to the continent’s development agenda.”
Applicants are expected to meet specific requirements which include:
- Strong organisational and time management ability
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to work in a team setting
- Analytical and problem-solving strength
- Multitasking skills suitable for fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Some background in research, consulting, or international development
- Understanding of the development sector with proven research and writing skills
- Knowledge of both English and French is an advantage
