Plan International Nigeria has opened applications for the 2025 Cohort (Phase 3) of its Thrive 3.0 Programme, a platform created to empower young people with the right knowledge and skills for future growth.
The organisation explained that the initiative was built to “help young people, particularly girls, develop the values and opportunities needed to thrive and positively impact their communities.”
Through the programme, participants will gain practical training in project management, monitoring and evaluation, mental health, communications and influencing, photography, and career-related skills such as effective job applications. Other sessions will also be included to prepare them for challenges in today’s dynamic world.
The selection requirements are clearly stated:
i. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not older than 30 by 1st October 2025
ii. Adolescents, young women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
The timeline for applications runs from 08 to 22 September 2025. Interested candidates are expected to complete their application online through https://forms.gle/oeCqzA7AYVGnayew9.
Applicants must also submit either a one-minute MP4 video or a 400-word written document in English, single-spaced, and typed in Arial font size 12. The submission should cover three main points:
i. Why applicants are interested in the program
ii. How the program will be of benefit to the applicant in the long run
iii. What makes them the best candidate
According to the statement, “videos should be clear, steady, and recorded with minimal background noise, with the applicant facing the camera while showing face and shoulders.”
Plan International Nigeria further disclosed that only candidates who make the shortlist will be contacted after the review process.
