Enugu State has officially entered the global outsourcing economy with the launch of the EnuguSME × Turing Tech Training Program (ETTP). The initiative, driven by Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is in partnership with Turing Tech Ltd. and the Office of Digital Economy. This effort is set to transform the state into Nigeria’s leading outsourcing hub for global tech talent.
Speaking on the program, Dr. Mbah emphasized its long-term impact, saying, “This program is a cornerstone of our strategy for GDP growth, massive job creation, and empowering Enugu’s youth for the digital economy.”
The ETTP offers young people a chance to earn in dollars and start careers with international companies, all while living in Enugu. “With ETTP, your tech skills go global,” reads a statement from the Enugu SME Center.
Participants in the program will be trained in full stack development, which includes both front-end and back-end software development, along with remote work readiness.
Training Track:
i. Upskill in Full-stack software development (Frontend and Backend), AI/ML fundamentals, and remote work readiness
ii. Earn a tech certification
iii. Secure a guaranteed international tech placement earning ₦1,000,000+ per month
Turing Tech is backing the training with a strong placement guarantee. Graduates will be linked to international job opportunities through Turing Tech’s global employer network. The expected earnings are significant. In the first year, participants are projected to earn ₦1,066,667 per month, totaling ₦12.8 million annually. In the second year and beyond, the salary rises to ₦2,280,000 monthly or ₦27.36 million per year.
The 12-month training comes with a commitment fee of ₦400,000, which represents just 5 percent of the total training cost. This model removes the need for a government subsidy or bank guarantee.

Eligibility:
i. Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old from any part of the world
ii. Be digitally literate
iii. Available to commit 20 hours a week for training
