The Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI) has announced a new scholarship opportunity for serving NYSC corps members across Nigeria, in collaboration with the Center for Human Capital and Environmental Sustainability. According to ESMI, the programme is designed to train participants in professional safety and management courses without charging any training fee. “This scholarship helps the awardee to get trained in a professional course without paying the training fee,” the institute stated. However, applicants are required to pay a five thousand naira application fee before joining the class. ESMI explained that this fee is to ensure only serious-minded individuals are admitted into the programme.
The initiative has been approved by the Federal Ministry of Education, offering participants the chance to get trained, certified, and inducted into professional practice.
