The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) is hosting the first edition of its DevsInGovernment MDA Workshop Series on Wednesday, 30th July 2025, at 2:30PM. The event will take place in collaboration with Galaxy Backbone and The World Bank, and will focus on the theme, “Driving Operational Excellence through Technology at NIGCOMSAT.”
DevsInGovernment is a growing community of technologists and digital professionals in the Civil Service committed to improving internal systems and public service delivery through technology. “This initiative brings together government developers and innovators to co-create tech-driven solutions for operational challenges,” said a representative from FMCIDE.
This month’s workshop highlights the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) agency, aiming to identify ways technology can enhance workflow automation, improve staff efficiency, and build a stronger culture of innovation. According to organizers, “The workshop is not just about learning but creating practical tools that directly impact performance.”
