The Kano State Information Technology Development Agency (KASITDA) has announced the opening of nominations for the Kano Digital Ambassadors (KADA) programme. The scheme is aimed at promoting digital innovation, driving collaboration, and building partnerships with professionals of Kano origin, especially those in the diaspora, to strengthen the state’s digital ecosystem.
KASITDA explained, “The Kano Digital Ambassadors (KADA) programme is an initiative organised to enhance digital innovation, collaboration, and strategic partnerships through natives in diaspora, promoting the growth of the digital ecosystem in Kano State.”
The agency added that selected ambassadors will play a key role in presenting Kano’s digital vision. “As an ambassador in the Kano Digital Ambassadors (KADA) programme, you will be enabled to represent the state’s vision for a digital state,” it stated.
The programme is open to professionals of Kano origin excelling in:
i. Technology
ii. Digital Innovation
iii. Related fields
