Lagos govt opens 2025 Eko Schools Arts and Crafts competition

The Lagos State Government has announced the commencement of registration for the 2025 Eko Schools Arts and Crafts Competition, a maiden edition set to promote the creative abilities of students across the state. The contest is open to participants from both secondary schools and tertiary institutions within Lagos.

Organizers confirmed that “registration is free and accessible to all eligible students.” The competition will showcase diverse artistic categories including painting, sculpture, textile arts, pottery, photography, and related crafts.

With the theme “My Lagos, My Story!”, the program is expected to encourage young people to interpret the city through their creativity and talent. According to the committee, “this initiative is a platform for students to display their skills while telling unique stories about Lagos.”

Entries will be accepted until Thursday, 25th September 2025, via the official portal at ekoschoolsartsandcrafts.com.
