The Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS), located at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, has announced the commencement of applications for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a public announcement, NAFCONS stated that the admission is open to qualified military, paramilitary personnel, and civilians. The college emphasized that entry into the programme will be strictly through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The duration of the programme is four years.
According to the statement, “Applicants must possess minimum of 5-Credits in their O-level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry in not more than two sittings. Applicants must be between the ages of 16-26 years by 30 September, 2025. Applicants must be a Nigerian by birth. Applicants must have sat for year 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 180 points. Applicants must have chosen NAFCONS as first choice. Subject combination for UTME and Post-UTME are: Use of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Any applicants who did not sit for the above subjects combination in UTME need not apply.”
The institution added that interested candidates should visit the NAFCONS website at www.nafcons.edu.ng to download the application form.
On the Post UTME exercise, the college clarified that it is not selling forms for the process. However, a non-refundable logistics fee of N5,000 will be charged, payable in cash at the College Finance Office. Completed application forms must be submitted with photocopies of credentials, including O-level results, secondary school testimonial, birth certificate, certificate of state or local government of origin, 2025 UTME result, and four passport photographs.
The Post UTME screening exercise will hold from 8 to 12 September 2025 at the Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences, Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna.
NAFCONS warned against dealing with unauthorized individuals, noting that the college has not appointed any admission agents. “The college has not authorized anyone directly or indirectly to act as admission agent. Additionally, the admission forms are not sold online. Anyone dealing with agents apart from the above contacts will be doing so at his or her own risk,” the statement read.
