NIPOST 2025 National Stamp and Unity Day Design Contest

The Nigerian Postal Service has announced the launch of the 2025 National Stamp and Unity Day Design Contest, aimed at promoting unity and cultural pride through creativity. According to NIPOST, the initiative aligns with the 8 Pillars of the Renewed Hope Agenda and carries the theme “Renewed Hope – Path to Inclusive Prosperity.”

“We invite all Nigerians to take part in designing a stamp, postcard, or both that reflect our unity, diverse cultures, and national pride,” NIPOST stated.

b. Students
c. Artists
d. Illustrators

Winning designs will be included in Nigeria’s official postal collection, described by NIPOST as “a lasting legacy of creative expression and a powerful symbol of unity.” The submission deadline is August 31, 2025.

To participate, entrants must follow these steps
i. Visit https://contest.nipost.gov.ng/submit
ii. Fill out required information
iii. Maximum 2(Two) per participant
iv. Full name, Age category, contact, artwork title + 150-word design note

Selected works will be unveiled during the official launch on October 1, 2025, with winning entries printed as national postal stamps, exhibited, and auctioned.

Design specifications require stamp dimensions of 30mm × 40mm in either portrait or landscape format, and postcards sized at 4″ × 6″. Resolution must be at least 300 DPI. Required file formats are AI, SVG, or EPS, while JPEG, PNG, and PDF are optional. Submissions must include a 150-word explanation.

Recommended colors include green for growth and agriculture, blue for innovation and youth, gold for prosperity and optimism, and white for peace and unity.
