Northern Agribusiness Development Initiative, NADI Recruitment for Enumerators

The Northern Agribusiness Development Initiative (NADI) has begun recruiting Enumerators to strengthen its community-based data collection efforts. The initiative, launched in 2023, continues to grow its reach and influence in rural development and food production systems.

The organization stated, “We are scaling up efforts to identify and empower farmers. Enumerators will help us gather the accurate, field-level data needed to support agribusiness development.”

Enumerators will work directly with local communities to map out farmers, conduct surveys, and collect reliable data using digital tools such as KoboToolbox and ODK. They will also assist in mobilization and sensitization programs within local government areas (LGAs).

NADI says selected candidates will gain valuable experience, receive training on digital data tools, and enjoy networking opportunities. “This is an opportunity to be part of a high-impact agricultural program that supports food security and innovation,” NADI said.

Applicants must be at least 25 years old, have strong digital literacy, and be fluent in local languages. Access to a smartphone or tablet and willingness to travel within LGAs are required. Previous community outreach or data experience is an advantage.

Interested applicants are expected to fill out the online application form and then email their full name, phone number, state, and LGA of residence to the appropriate address. States currently covered include Kano, Kaduna, Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, Gombe, Katsina, and Adamawa.

For example, applicants in Sokoto should email:

NADI cautioned that incomplete or incorrect submissions may lead to disqualification. The recruitment will close once the target number of Enumerators is reached.

“Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the next phase,” the organization confirmed.
