NPHCDA Opens Recruitment for LGA Vaccine Accountability Officers

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) has announced the recruitment of Local Government Area Vaccine Accountability Officers (LGA VAOs) for the upcoming Polio Vaccination Campaign. This move is aimed at strengthening vaccine management and enhancing accountability in health service delivery.

According to the NPHCDA, “The successful candidates will be saddled with the responsibility of end-to-end coordination of the vaccine accountability process, co-supervising the accountability officers at the ward level together with the LGA and state team.”

This initiative is to ensure proper oversight of vaccine usage and reduce wastage. The agency noted that “this form is to solicit for the engagement of credible candidates to serve as Local Government Area Vaccine Accountability Officer (LGA VAO) during the Polio Vaccination Campaign.”
