The Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board has officially released new dates for the previously suspended Computer-Based Test (CBT) under the HOPE-EDU Programme. This update follows a temporary suspension of the earlier schedule. The board confirmed that the exams will now hold across the three senatorial zones in Plateau State on the following dates:
i. Southern Zone
Date: Saturday, 2nd August 2025
Local Government Areas:
Wase – Central School Wase
Langtang North – Pilot Science Model School Pallam
Langtang South – Pilot Science Model School Mabudi
Shendam – Shendam
Mikang – Shendam
Quan-Pan – SPS Doemak
Venue:
Mikang and Shendam have been merged, and their examination centre is in Shendam, while that of other local governments within the zone will hold at the earlier designated centres, respectively.
ii. Central Zone
Date: Monday, 4th August 2025
Local Government Areas:
Pankshin – GJSS Pankshin
Kanam – Dengi Central
Kanke – GJSS Kabwir
Bokkos – Pilot Central Bokkos
Mangu – Pilot Science Model School Bunga and Ekan Mangu
Venue:
Earlier designated centres, respectively.
iii. Northern Zone
Date: Wednesday, 6th August 2025
Local Government Areas:
Bassa – ECWA Jebbu Bassa
Jos North – Township Primary School
Jos South – Obasanjo Model School Hwolshe
Jos East – Angware Model Pilot School
Riyom – Central School Riyom
Barkin Ladi – St. Joseph B/Ladi
Venue:
Earlier designated centres, respectively.
“All registered applicants are advised to sit for the exams at centres nearest to their places of residence,” the board said.
The exams will begin by 10:00 a.m. on each scheduled date. Candidates must bring the following:
i. Fully powered Android phones recharged with adequate data subscription.
ii. They are also to bring either their voter’s card, NIM registration number, or any other official means of identification.
“A new login details will be issued to registered applicants at the respective centres before the commencement of the exams,” management added.
