Stanbic IBTC opens applications for DiSEP 5.0 to Train Youth

Stanbic IBTC has opened applications for the fifth edition of its Digital Skills Empowerment Programme, DiSEP 5.0, an initiative created to help Nigerian youth gain free access to digital training, upskilling, and globally recognized paid certifications.

The bank explained that the program is structured to provide participants with practical knowledge in fields that are in high demand worldwide. “From C#, AWS, Java, Azure, and DevOps, DiSEP 5.0 will deliver hands-on skills that employers are looking for today,” the institution said.

The scheme is designed for young Nigerians who meet specific requirements. Interested applicants are expected to pass an online pre-training assessment as part of the selection process.

Qualification and Career Interests
a. Applicants should be interested in building a career in the following technical fields; Kubernetes, NET Core, C#, Software Testing and Automation, DevOps, Java.
b. Minimum of a Second Class Lower degree in an Information Technology or Engineering related course from an accredited University.
c. Minimum of five credits (Mathematics and English inclusive) in GCE, NECO or its equivalent
d. Applicants must have concluded NYSC and must have discharge certificate in hand.
e. Applicant’s Date of Birth, Gender and class of degree must be clearly stated.
f. Applicant must not be more than 28 years old as at the time of application
