The Hospital Services Management Board and Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital Gusau in Zamfara State have announced an internal and external recruitment exercise for qualified medical professionals. According to the notice, “applications are hereby requested from suitably qualified candidates wishing to be employed by the Board and ASYBSH.”
The positions available include Consultants in internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics. Other specialities with openings are:
i. Ophthalmology
ii. ENT
iii. Orthopedics surgery
iv. Radiology
v. Pathology
vi. Dental surgery
There are also opportunities for Principal Medical Officers and Medical Officers. The statement noted the remuneration structure, saying, “Fresh Medical Officers will be placed on COMMESS 3/2 = N462,429.00 per month, while fresh Consultants will equally be placed on COMMESS 6/3 = N1,038,479.00 per month.”
Eligibility is limited to candidates with a valid registration from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Council. The management stated that only applicants meeting this requirement would be considered.
Interested professionals are to submit their applications on or before 31 August 2025. The notice added, “only shortlisted applicants will be eligible for interview.”
